Hennessey Performance Using McLaren 600LT to Benchmark Venom F5

That’s One Heck of a Benchmark

When Hennessey Performance got its first McLaren 600LT, which has now been tinkered with, the company had no plans to modify the car. According to an interview by Top Gear with the company’s boss, John Hennessey, the sole reason he got a McLaren 600LT was to use it to benchmark the Venmon F5. It was only later that he decided to add more power to the vehicle and make it into the car that we reported on recently.

In case it somehow slipped past you, the Venom F5 is hypercar that’s should be revealed sometime this year. It will compete with the best of the best and be ready for buyers in 2020. CarBuzz notes that many insiders expect the car to set a new standard and beat Koenigsegg’s production car speed record.

The Venom F5 will have to be much more impressive than the McLaren 600LT if it wants to beat the land speed record set by Koenigsegg. The 600LT has a top speed of over 200 mph, but nowhere near the 277 mph that Koenigsegg achieved to set the record. Hennessey’s Venom F5 will have to put out more power and have some serious aerodynamics to be able to handle speeds that fast.

Hennessey is no doubt using the McLaren 600LT as a benchmark in the cornering and ride departments, too. From everything we’ve heard, the car is excellent in those respects, and the Venom F5 would do well to get to similar levels.

Porsche Classic Rebuilds Carrera GT From Scratch

The Heart Wants What the Heart Wants

Porsche Classic has done some fantastic restorations of all kinds of Porsche vehicles, but the Carrera GT pictured here is a true stunner. The owner of the car commissioned Porsche Classic to not only restore the car but to completely strip it down and rebuild it to his specific instructions. That’s how it arrived at the beautiful one-off green machine you see before you.

The Carrera GT’s production ended about a dozen years ago, but the car is still a favorite among supercar enthusiasts. The V10 machine is one of Porsche’s most unique models. Now, this particular one stands out from the pack due to its perfect-in-our-eyes restoration.

To do what the owner of the car wanted, Porsche started by completely disassembling the car. It then refurbished or replaced every single part. Mechanics overhauled the engine, transmission, and chassis. The owner then chose an Oak Green Metallic paint from the 1970s that was never used on the Carrera GT.

The wheels are a special BBS five-spoke made of magnesium. The five spokes were painted and the rim of the wheel was polished using a special method developed for this specific application. Porsche used real silver to get the rims to shine. After that, Porsche spent 350 hours working on all the carbon fiber parts.

When finished, the car was presented to the owner and showed at the Porsche Experience Center in Atlanta, GA. Porsche held an event with 100 people there and a symposium that coincided with the event. The star of the show, though, was undoubtedly the car.

2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 4MATIC Review & Test Drive

2020 mercedes-benz gle 450 4matic

Deep into the fray of the current American car culture, we find that SUV/crossover vehicles, as well as trucks, have dominated the sales charts as of late. With such a move, leaving behind the once beloved sedan, Mercedes-Benz has taken note, and with that, they have introduced an all-new GLE midsized crossover to dominate with the help of advanced tech and careful attention to design to retain its conservative looks.

>> Get the best price on the Mercedes-Benz GLE from a network of local dealers now. <<

The new 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE embarks on a new journey, one that was set in motion back in 1998 then wearing the ML badge out of an Alabama factory and promoted in movies like The Lost World: Jurassic Park. The new GLE, carrying the American-made Benz torch, looks to once again signal to the rest of the automotive market that Benz is still a pioneer when it comes to forward thinking – not only design elements but in the clever use of technology to benefit their consumers in such a mainstream midsized crossover utility vehicle. With such said, after spending some quality time with the new 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 4MATIC over the Christmas holiday, I am about ready to add one to my personal garage.

2020 mercedes-benz gle 450 4matic rear

In putting tech at the forefront of what the new 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE offers, the brand touts their new E-Active Body Control suspension system, which is an iteration of their system that first showed up in the S-Class dating back to 2013. Such a system combines an air suspension setup with hydraulic properties running off of a 48-volt system enabling individual wheel force control. The system utilizes a merit of Mercedes’ systems that include road scan, airmatic, and the magic body control that we’ve been fans of for many years. The advancement of the E-Active system requires a robust 48-volt operating voltage where the system can recuperate energy that is needs to work. Fundamentally, with the system operating in the default Comfort drive mode, it will utilize a camera to scan the road ahead and pre-load the necessary wheels to dampen undulations in the road where in some cases you don’t feel them. The only downside is that the system no longer scans the road come night time. I suspect the cameras require the proper lighting and multiple angles to view depth of potholes and undulations. The derived name of Magic Body Control is fitting, though with the new GLE 450 being an SUV theirs a bit more to the story with E-ABC as the GLE sits up higher than the S-Class and may be taken on off-roading conditions.

With the versatility of a midsized crossover like the new GLE, Benz had to ensure the E-Active Body Control suspension system was up to the job of off-roading duties as well as providing the best ride quality of an SUV currently on the planet. Of course, getting to experience the GLE 450 through many different road conditions, I can agree on the notion of it being the best riding SUV around, period. The E-Active suspension system makes millisecond adjustments, literally rises to the occasion to provide additional ground clearance in the off-road drive mode, and adds in a trick Curve setting that leans the body into a turn much like a motorcycle does to counteract the lateral g-forces. In all, the system works excellent and adds in a couple of additional specialization features, such as its ability to bounce the vehicle in the Free Assist program for those times that you are adventurous enough to take the GLE off-road and get it stuck in sand, or loose ruts. The Assist function even permits you to manually modulate individual wheels to raise or lower a portion of the vehicle to navigate extreme terrain.

Apart from the new Benz GLE 450’s trick suspension system, there’s still the fundamentals of the midsized SUV that start with a new-to-the-brand turbocharged inline-6-cylinder engine that is married to somewhat of a mild hybrid system. It utilizes a motor for the starter, regenerative power to supply a small battery to power accessories during the start-stop function, and an EQ Boost that can temporarily add as much as 21 additional horsepower when full throttle is demanded. Together, working in sync with a 9-speed automatic transmission, the 362 horsepower and 396 pound-feet of torque from the turbocharged 6-cylinder engine is able to get the new GLE 450 4MATIC up to 60 mph in just 5.5 seconds.

2020 mercedes-benz gle 450 4matic screens

When a mad dash to 60 mph isn’t being performed, the new GLE 450 4MATIC looks to get a respectable 25 to 26 mpg on the highway as I observed. City fuel consumption numbers come in around 18 to 19 mpg leaving me with an average of about 21 to 22 to mpg as an estimated combined figure.

The overall performance of the new 2020 Benz GLE 450 4MATIC is up to par with SUVs in its class and is able to excel when it comes to the way it can handle body movements, which include pitch, dive and lateral movements. Most of this is due to the E-Active Body Control suspension, once again, coming into the picture to actively mitigate body roll and other movements making adjustments in milliseconds to virtually keep the body of the GLE flat and allowing the beefy 275/50 20-inch all-season tires on my test vehicles firmly planted to the road surface. Of course, adding to the performance equation is a Sport and Sport+ drive mode that will automatically lower the suspension system and no longer read the road for somewhat of a firm ride quality but a lower center of gravity to aid in handling when one must carve canyons or make a dash to the grocery store before it closes.

Mercedes-Benz pulled out all of the stops when it comes to what can be used to make their latest midsized SUV one of the most technologically advanced vehicles on the road today. The latest MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment unit is among the best I’ve experienced in a luxury vehicle. The system integrates a lot of redundancy of controls from the steering wheel, touchpad, and a large 12.3 inch touchscreen. The new touchscreen, which nearly mimics the shape and size of the 12.3-inch gauge cluster screen for the driver, is the focus of attention in the new GLE 450. There is a plethora of vehicle functions all nicely nestled within a series of home screen icons. Additionally, there are quick-access functions and drive-mode themes that can be brought up with a quick swipe up on the screen, touchpad, or touch-sensitive steering wheel control. Best of all, there is a new “Hey Mercedes” voice-recognition control that works surprising well, almost as well as the voice function of Siri and Alexa. There’s a variety of functions that can be voiced after saying “Hey Mercedes” from control of the temperature, navigating to a specific address, or simply opening the power sunshades – the voice-recognition goes the distance like no other vehicle in its class. There’s even augmented reality for the navigation system that displays street names with highlighted arrows to tell you exactly where you need to make your next turn overlaid on an automatically-enabled camera image displayed on the center screen.

2020 mercedes-benz gle 450 4matic rear seats

The redesign of the new 2020 GLE takes a careful approach to keep with tradition in the somewhat contemporary styling of the GLE where onlookers have a hard time deciphering the new 2020 model and the previous generation. Though, there are many changes, inside and out hardly leaving any area untouched for the redesign. The new GLE is bigger, more accessible, and doesn’t skimp on using tech to make the drive and ride safer and more enjoyable. The bevy of active safety features all come into play with the added benefit of mild autonomy for driving and a useful traffic jam assist feature. Again, Benz left no stones unturned here.

2020 mercedes-benz gle 450 4matic cargo

For the complete package of what the new 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLE 450 4MATIC offers, pricing is said to start at just $62,145 while the new 2020 GLE 350 base model with its 4-cylinder turbocharged engine and no availability of the trick E-Active Body Control suspension system will start at $54,695 while the 350 4MATIC (AWD) starts at $57,195. I suspect, from my educated guess, that my nicely equipped and almost-loaded test vehicle will price around $74,000 to $78,000. I’m totally convinced that the new 2020 GLE 450 4MATIC is worth its price and I am just about ready to pay for a chance to extend my wonderful experience.

The Chiron Sport 110 ans Bugatti Celebrates 110 Years of Bugatti

A Special Edition for the Special Occasion

Bugatti is no stranger to making special editions of its Chiron or Chiron Sport. There have been several, and now we get one more in the “110 ans Bugatti.” The latest special edition celebrates the company’s 110 anniversary of its founding and its deep French roots.

The car features blue, white, and red in honor of France. Stephan Winkelmann, President of Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S., said France plays an important role for the brand. “Molsheim in the Alsace region of France is an essential element in Bugatti’s brand history and this is also where we are planning our future,” he said.

The blue, white, and red is the French tricolor, “Le Bleu-Blanc-Rouge.” While this is evident from the exterior of the car, the color scheme also plays a role in the interior with blue, white and red stripes on the seat as well as the “110 ans Bugatti” badge on the headrests. The same badge features on the outside of the car, too.

The tricolor scheme can be found on the underside of the Chiron Sport’s rear wing, on the side mirrors, and wherever the “110 ans Bugatti” badge is. Bugatti painted the rest of the car Steel Blue.

From a performance standpoint, designers made no changes to the drivetrain. The changes to this special edition car are cosmetic. However, the car is full of subtle hints at heritage and French tradition. The Bugatti Chiron Sport “110 ans Bugatti” is a truly special car for the brand. Only 20 examples will be produced.

2019 Chevrolet Colorado 4WD Z71 Crew Cab Review & Test Drive

2019 chevrolet colorado z71

Chevrolet has been playing a slight catch-up game with its competition in some ways as of late. In such a quest, Chevy has remained consistent in their bountiful offerings when it comes to their trucks, and the new Colorado midsized pickup is no exception.

My lasted automotive adventure takes me to a few off-roading trails through some local housing construction areas at the helm of the 2019 Chevrolet Colorado 4WD Z71 Crew Cab with the short box. Such a vehicle touts some respectable off-roading chops but not at the upper level that the latest ZR2-equipped Colorado pickups offer. However, my new Colorado Z71 pickup truck was up to the task to successfully conquer deep mud ruts and some sandy areas most in part thanks to its 17-inch knobby all-terrain tires, over 8-inches of ground clearance, V6 power, locking rear differential, and four-wheel-drive.

Chevrolet, like a select group of other coveted automotive manufactures, knows how to build trucks and the Colorado falls in a segment that only has a few offerings that doesn’t leave much room for slacking. Fortunate, the new Colorado keeps receiving small improvements, which for the 2019 model year it gets an updated infotainment unit with more USB ports and a better high-resolution rearview camera system.

2019 chevrolet colorado z71

As far as mechanics, the 2019 Colorado remains functionally the same with the added capability of towing that it received through its midcycle update after its 2015 resurgence. The V6 engine, equipped on my Colorado 4WD Z71-off-road package test vehicle, is up to the task of getting the job done but doing it comes with some noticeable sound that makes you feel as if the engine is struggling to get things moving. However, the 3.6-liter V6’s 308 horsepower and 275 ft-lbs. of torque are ample enough for a run to 60 mph in about 6.1 seconds beating out all of its competition. Moreover, the 8-speed automatic does a decent job to manage the power of the V6 with quick and smooth shifts. The 4-cylinder mode of the V6, only enabled when the load is light and the vehicle is keeping a steady speed, often feels a bit rough for the sake of saving a few drops of fuel. Speaking of which, the EPA estimates for the Colorado 4WD Z71 Crew Cab come in at 17 mpg city, 24 mpg highway, and 19 mpg combined. I noticed a respected consistency of fuel consumption matching those numbers for the most part during my week-long drive.

The comfort of the 2019 Chevrolet Colorado Z71 is somewhat of a mixed bag. The front seats are difficult to position in the proper spot for the driver, and there’s a surprising limit to the amount of interior storage when compared to what you expect in a truck. Otherwise, the ride quality and ease of maneuvering the Colorado somewhat make up for the lack of space and comfort.

The dashboard controls and availability of infotainment features is a welcomed part of the Colorado as everything is where it should be without any unwelcome surprises. The updated infotainment system features new user-friendly menus and a revamped icon base for the primary home screen controls. There’s also Apple CarPlay and Android Auto making a return after it’s addition in the 2018 model year.

Much to do with the capabilities of a midsized truck, buyers will be delighted to find that the Colorado is quite the capable truck, especially for its ‘smaller’ size. My test vehicle can to tow up to 7,000 pounds and haul 1,487 pounds. Not to mention, the off-roading abilities of the Colorado are respectable as well as its unique looks having the Z71 off-roading midnight edition package’s exclusive looks that add black-painted 17-inch alloy wheels, a body-color front grille, black Chevy bowtie on the grille, and a spray-on bed liner.

The complete package of the 2019 Chevy Colorado 4WD Z71 short box comes in at an as-tested price of $41,565, which includes a destination charge of $995. At the base level of the V6 Colorado Z71 4WD the price is $36,900.

Alfa Romeo Unveils 4C Spider Italia Special Edition in Chicago

Called the Italia But Exclusive to North America

Continuing what seems to be the neverending run of special edition models coming out right now, Alfa Romeo keeps 4C rolling with a special edition. The company calls it the Italia and debuted it in the Windy City at the Chicago Auto Show.

The new version of the pint-sized mid-engine sports car comes to North America via Modena, Italy. There, workers will build each of the 15 examples of this special edition car by hand. An Italia Special Edition 4C Spider will only run you $5,000 more than the regular version of the car.

What makes the 4C Spider Italia special is its exclusive Misano Blue Metallic exterior paint, piano black front air intake, piano black rear diffuser, special 4C Spider Italia graphics, aluminum dashboard insert with 4C Spider Italia badge, and a numbered plate on the center console.

Alfa Romeo also announced the 4C’s 2020 model year with the 4C Spider Italia. The automaker will continue to produce its low-volume mid-engine sports car. Alfa’s 4c is truly unique in its design and layout. At a comparable price, few cars can match it.

The 4C Spider Italia features no upgrades from a performance standpoint, and neither does the standard 2020 4C. The car still has its all-aluminum 1.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that’s mid-mounted and its 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. While it would have been cool to see Alfa Romeo change things up and get more power out of the four-cylinder, we’re just glad the 4C still exists for the 2020 model year.

5 Things We’re Excited About at NADA Show 2019

NADA Show 2019 is just around the corner, and we can’t wait to see everyone in San Francisco. From the workshops and speakers to the expo hall and networking events, it gets harder every year to fit even more show into just a few short days. As usual, NADA has an impressive line up of speakers and one-of-a-kind experiences on the agenda. Here are just a few of the many things we’re excited to see and do at NADA 2019.

1. The New Moscone Center

The NADA Show will be one of the first events held at the newly renovated Moscone Center. In addition to installing “state-of-the-art everything,” the renovation expanded the exhibition space to 500,000 square feet, which is roughly double its previous square footage. NADA Show attendees will be among the first to experience an event in the new Moscone Center, getting the chance to explore new community art spaces and try new restaurants/concessions between NADA activities.

2. The Keynote Speakers

As always, NADA has lined up some all-star keynote speakers. To start, NADA President Wes Lutz will join Kat Cole, COO and President of Focus Brands, for the first general session of the show: “Be a Leader of Innovation and Progress: How to Iterate, Adapt and Succeed Faster.” In her four years as the President of Cinnabon, Kat Cole led the brand’s resurgence to 1,200 stores in 60 countries, with sales surpassing $1 billion. During the opening general session, she will share insights and perspectives from her experience leading some of the most well-known food brands in the world, including best practices for businesses of all sizes, and what it takes it develop successful teams and drive growth through innovation.

On Saturday, Emmy award winner Dana Carvey will take the stage. And on Sunday, attendees have the opportunity to be inspired by professional golfer and decorated fighter pilot, Major Dan Rooney.

3. PureCars Happy Hour

As our friends and clients know, there’s no party like a PureCars’ party. Come see for yourself and celebrate NADA with us at International Smoke on Friday from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Stop by to network with industry leaders and enjoy some tasty food and drinks. Tickets are free, but space is limited so get yours before they run out. Click here to get your free ticket and get on the list.

4. Distinguished Speakers Series

Introduced last year, the Distinguished Speakers Series goes beyond the standard talk tracks, offering insights from industry leaders and other trail blazers on topics like innovation, leadership strategies, company culture, team building and more. This year, the series kicks off with Carey Lohrenz, the U.S. Navy’s first female F-14 fighter pilot. This is an especially great session for women in automotive, as Carey will be talking about being a leader in a male dominated field, and offering insights on how she translated her experience in the Navy to climb the corporate ladder.

On Friday, Alan Haig and Dale Pollak have a session on the future of auto retail and how dealers can prepare for the next evolution. Saturday’s session is about creating an environment that fosters creativity with the former president of Adidas North America, Mark King. Mark will talk to attendees about how he transformed Adidas’ culture and how they can cultivate the kind of energy and enthusiasm that drives profitable growth for their organization.

The series closes out on Sunday with two distinguished speakers. The first session is with motivational speaker and best-selling author, Dr. Rick Rigsby, and is all about making an impact by improving communication. The final speaker is Bill Rancic – an entrepreneur and winner of the first season of The Apprentice. In his session, Bill will provide insights about innovation in business and in life, based on his experience and the strategies he’s used to get where he is today.

5. The Expo Floor

There’s nothing quite like the buzz of the expo floor at an NADA Show. As an exhibitor, we have a blast meeting so many new people, and catching up with friends, clients and partners. Even beyond the PureCars booth, there is such much for attendees to do and see around the expo floor. There are awesome lifestyle experiences where attendees can take a break and relax – this year that includes an oxygen bar that we just can’t wait to check out for ourselves. Not to mention, specialty booths like the Social Connection Zone which has some great sessions this year about customer loyalty and trending topics like block chain. This year, NADA has also added a new Dealer/Manager Lounge where dealership teams can take a break, grab a cold drink and review their daily schedules.

As you are walking the expo floor this year, come say hi to the PureCars team at Booth #6229W! We have a lot of cool prizes to give away, including an iPhone XS and Apple Watch. Click here to find out how you can enter to win!

Clever Ways to Save Money when Buying a Supercar

So you have finally decided that it’s time to upgrade to a vehicle that actually ticks off all the boxes and provides you with the driving experience you desire. Buying a supercar isn’t a purchase you’ll be making just any day, and maybe leasing a supercar is even a better alternative for you. Since this might be one of the biggest investments of your life, you want the entire purchase to turn out as planned.

You probably know already that a supercar comes with a higher price tag than your average vehicle, which means you will need to get a bit more money out of your pocket. If you are currently stressing over the large expense you will be subjected to, perhaps you should find a few methods of saving some money. Here are a few ideas that might help you out on the matter, so look them over carefully.

Sell your currently-owned vehicle

Parting ways with the car you have been driving for a long time isn’t always easy. You might be tempted to keep your current vehicle, especially if the price you will be able to sell it for isn’t exactly a high one. Well, in reality, selling your old car should be the first step you take on the matter. Besides getting some cash into your pocket out of the sale, you will also be saving on insurance, potential repairs and other expenses that arise when you have more than one vehicle in your garage. So, when you are interested in upgrading, start with the basics and put your currently-owned auto up for sale. Even a couple of thousands more in your pocket might help you out financially, and may allow you to buy a supercar model that comes equipped with more extensive features.

Clean up your driving record

The money you will be spending on the purchase itself isn’t the only expense you will need to worry about. The newer and more expensive the car model is, the higher the insurance price you’ll need to cover will automatically be. You should use the right tricks to your advantage, to manage accessing a more affordable policy. One of the things you are advised to do is review your driving record and make sure it’s in order. Any unpaid tickets should be handled first, and with a clean record at your disposal you can negotiate a better price on your future supercar insurance policy.

Consider using online deals

Although you may not actually find coupons amiable on the purchase itself, considering you will have other related expenses, such as new tires, or perhaps new car parts (if you are buying the vehicle used, from a dealership), you might come across some great automotive deals that allow you to benefit from discounts on various vehicle-related buys. A 25 percent discount on a pair of expensive tires, for example, can mean quite an appealing save, so looking into this possibility when you are trying to save some money is certainly recommended. Offers and deals websites stand at your disposal with an impressive variety of offers, ranging from small auto parts and up to insurance. Regardless of your specific needs, you should always go on a quick search on the web, to see if you come across some deals first. The amount you will be saving can be used in other more productive ways. Online discount codes have become a great solution for buyers that are on a strict budget, so why not take advantage of the available offers yourself?

Think about buying used

It’s perfectly normal for you to want to purchase your dream auto brand new, especially when it comes to luxury, high-performance models. However, in some cases, this might not be the wisest choice to make. You have the possibility of finding your favorite supercar at a second-hand dealership, which might have even used for less than a year, and is now up for sale for far a lower price than the brand new version. Cars deal with somewhere around a 20 percent depreciation drop in the first year, so if you start analyzing how much money that is, you will understand that the second-hand alternative is worth contemplating upon.

Buy local

While you might be tempted to order your favorite, vintage car, for example, from another county, this possibly being the only dealership that has the exact model you want, you should be aware of the higher costs that come with delivery. Delivery expense can add up to quite a significant amount, and why should you be wasting money on shipping, when you can use it is on things you actually need? A piece of advice you should keep in mind is to buy your supercar locally. Once you do the math, and find out just how much money can be saved if no international delivery is involved, you will conclude for yourself hat this is the wiser choice. Moreover, buying from a local dealership, and actually going there in person, could also bring a higher discount to the table. It’s far easier to get the sellers to drop the price, even for a bit, when you are discussing the sale in person. Going to the dealership, checking out the exact model you want and seeming like a reliable potential customer might persuade the auto dealers to make you a better offer, just to close the deal. It’s always best to purchase from a nearby dealership.

Buying a luxury, high-performance vehicle is certainly exciting, especially if you consider yourself a car enthusiast and have been eyeing a model for a long time. However, because this is a purchase that will involve quite the large financial investment from your part, you could put in a bit of effort in lowering the costs through a few clever ways. The suggestions mentioned here could provide you with the necessary support on the matter, guiding you in the right direction. Take them into account, and you may actually be able to cut down on how much money you will be saving on the buy.

The Next Generation Toyota 86 Will be Supra ‘Little Brother’

Keep the Coupe Going

We recently reported that the Toyota 86 and its Subaru BRZ twin will continue into a second generation. This information came after speculation that the Toyota version of the car would be going away due to the Supra. Now, it seems that we’re getting some information about where the next 86 will fit in.

The Australian publication GoAuto spoke with Brodie Bott, a Toyota Australia PR Manager. He said the company looks for the 86 to slot right in under the Supra, nicely. “It’s a pretty important car for us and it will be the little brother to the Supra,” Bott said.

Bott also said that the 86 is coming soon. In fact, he told the publication that he and others within Toyota have already seen the car. That would seem to mean that it has to be pretty darn close to being ready for production. There’s no indication as to when it will come to production, but if the PR folks in Toyota have already seen it, it would probably come out in the next couple years.

No matter how soon the car debuts, Toyota will have to ensure it’s different enough from the Supra to entice its own group of sports car buyers. At first thought, we’d suggest the 86 to be the choice for anyone who can’t afford a Supra, but the automaker needs to be careful with the performance of the next 86.

It needs to be better than the previous car, but not rival the Supra or it could cannibalize sales of the car. With that said, there’s plenty of room currently between the Supra and the 86, so Toyota should be able to make both car’s enticing.
